The art design and visual storytelling are as aesthetic as ever. The comedic moments were unexpected but they were great additions for variety in this ep

Feels like this is one of the better episodes in this series. While watching, I didn't feel like I was floundering about, if that makes sense? The transitions from one scene to another were smooth too

Solid narrative from start to finish. I like how we got some continuity from one of the previous episodes, that made this one feel more complete

Episode Context

Arriving at episode seven of twelve, this installment marks the series crossing into its back half, where individual character dynamics come into sharper relief. Following a detour into Awajima's local ghost story folklore in the previous episode, the series pivots decisively back to its core emotional terrain, the personal histories of its students. By placing Saori and Mikako front and center this late in the season, the episode appears to be laying necessary groundwork for the interpersonal tensions that will likely drive the final act.
