Episode Context

Arriving at episode 35 of 49, this episode follows directly on the heels of 'Aura Barrier,' which explored the tactical edge that defensive barriers provide in battle. 'Goraon's Scorching Heat' escalates the stakes considerably, introducing a significant and disturbing shift in the nature of the Upper Earth threat. It directly sets up 'The Enemy Is Gea Gring,' where Shou and his companions are pushed to seek technological upgrades to survive what this episode unleashes.
