Episode Context

Landing just past the series' midpoint, this episode follows 'Soldier: Elmelie Luft,' which deepened Lady Riml's foothold among the key players, and continues expanding her significance as a contested figure worth fighting over. Musiy Poe's personal vendetta adds emotional texture to what has otherwise been a largely strategic conflict, humanizing the war's collateral damage. The episode directly bridges into 'Attack vs. Attack,' signaling that the quieter, character-focused tension built here is about to escalate into harder confrontations.
