I really can't get over the contrast between Eren being a tiny assassin and then wrapping his scarf around Mikasa to keep her warm, it makes their bond feel so much more intense and dark. Seeing her still wearing that scarf while she shreds titans in the present day just makes it hurt more, because she has no idea he got eaten
