This episode is what got me into anime. The buildup to the action at the end of the episode is a little slow, but it greatly helps the worldbuilding and explaining why things are the way they are in Shiganshina. The reveal of the titans is so perfect and scary!

Thrust into a world who's brutal reality had me on the edge of my seat. The 1st episode of AoT does three things right. It provides an emotional bond to the main cast, a jarring ending that made me cry, and a thirst for in world lore. One of the GOATS. Re-watch value: ALWAYS!

A very unique anime if you guys are going to observe! How can a person be that big? From the title I guess it's called Titan? Episode one gave me that feeling that there is more to this story line. Specially the title! This episode is already intense. Imagine the next ones!

My absolute favourite anime. The episode literally starts off with a giant titan staring down at the main characters from above the walls that protect them and humanity is reminded of their inevitable caged fate. The music is great and the animation is absolute peak.

Amazing. Quite literally the best first episode I have ever watched- it takes its sweet time building the world and introducing the characters to the audience and then the dramatics strike. Absolutely perfect.

Excellently dark intro. You are served with an impactful dark lore that foreshadows the direction of the story and makes you click to the next episode. OST and design compliment the overall concept very well.

Attack on Titan begins with a tense, cold atmosphere that quickly sets high stakes. Sharp storytelling, strong world-building, powerful visuals, and music pull you in, making the danger feel real immediately.

After 100 years of peace, a giant Titan breaks the wall and everything goes crazy. It’s so sad to see Eren lose his home and his world change in a second. The tension is high and the art is amazing. You'll be hooked from the very beginning

This episode hits hard right from the start. The sense of fear and urgency pulls you in instantly. It sets up a world where survival is everything, and the emotional impact stays with you long after it ends. A powerful and unforgettable beginning.
