Hiroshi’s extreme emotional opinion about Six’s condition due to believing that the robot has a heart shows one of the extremes of the scales in this world, and leads to future questions of autonomy and limits within a comedic setting.

Seeing how reluctant detective Kensuu Ban is towards a more sentient robot helping with the work introduces a larger conversation about how AI is seen in this world, which is reinforced later by the idea of AI losing control and the direct impact on society.

Even when tense plot points are being developed, the show keeps a light-hearted tone. It will be interesting to see how more serious topics about AI and robots in society are explored with this tone.

The anime does well to keep its light-hearted tone while exploring more heavy themes of the integration of robots and how humans view them based on their lack of ability to form connections, and what happens when these ideas of challenged.

Exploring more about Ran, her skills, and her view on robots and the salvaging for technology from the past adds depth to her character, and shows a different approach to the world-building mechanic of having AI robot technology in the world.

A fun introduction to this anime. The plot sounds interesting, and the characters are entertaining. It will be interesting to see further world-building, along with how the plot device of the robots is used.
