At least the fight in space was entertaining. In the early episodes, the humor blended well with the plot and helped lighten the story, but in these final moments, it's more of a hindrance. The main villain is ridiculous; he doesn't pose a real threat. However, there is a valuable lesson in the episode, which essentially reaffirms the series' central theme: one should be free to choose how to live their own life. The affection the lodge residents have for each other feels very organic, warm like a found family. Despite the flaws, the ending is satisfying.
It is the perfect blend of sci-fi chaos and pure romance. I am so sad it is over but totally satisfied.
This episode is an absolute emotional rollercoaster and the perfect finale. Seeing Takumi and Mira finally navigate their feelings kept me on the edge of my seat.
