From the very beginning, my first reaction upon seeing the opening scenes of the episode was, "WOW, what beautiful art!" It's so colorful and eye-catching; every background is a work of art. As for the story, I find it very interesting. It's a rom-com with a beautiful landlady surrounded by quirky and funny residents. It's like Maison Ikkoku was animated using modern techniques. Oh, and there are space politics conflicts as well. There's potential here, but we'll have to wait and see if it's developed further in the upcoming episodes.
I absolutely loved Takumi immediately getting flustered by Miracle. Their dynamic is so cute, making this a cozy sci-fi start that you should definitely watch.
I love how Takumi instantly gets chaotic trying to impress Mira, and that cooking interview scene completely hooked me.
