This episode focuses more on the upcoming war and the plans surrounding it. There are also a lot of new characters introduced here, so it's a must-watch if you want to follow the story properly. I like how Ars' father shows him how to be a true warrior instead of just babysitting him. Anyway, it's a great episode, and the pacing is just right. It's not boring, and it's not too fast.
The plot started to thicken in this episode. Ars's first meeting with the fellow lord of Missian was intense, but it ended on a good note—especially after meeting Licia's father. The ending was something I didn't expect, but it was a great way to portray how serious it is to go to war. Sadly for Ars, he's not yet ready to face the cruelty of it.
The first scene adds mystery and conflict to the story. If not for the first episode spoiler, this episode's flow is great. We're not anticipating, but they spoiled it. The meeting was quite fast. The ending scene is hard to watch, and it's indeed a deep scene.
