Pretty solid episode to wrap up this season. We get the obvious conclusion to the battle, information regarding the kingdom's future, yada, yada, all peace and love at the end as always. I assume that it'll be more of this sort of thing in season three since things seem to be growing at an almost rapid pace as of recent, so it'll be good to see where the story goes and what new overarching conflicts will be introduced since it seems to be the end of Thomas' "antagonist" role right now. Honestly, this season ended a lot better than it started for me, so I think we definitely have the potential to keep on this track. That being said, children leading an army will never not be ridiculous to me, and romance in reincarnations stories will never not be weird.

Mostly a hell of a lot of set-up for next episode. Aside from seeing how all the pieces fall together and how plans are outlined regarding what's going to be the final battle of this season, we also get some more insight into Mireille and Thomas' backstories. That part was my favourite, just because we got to see the development of them both which can contextualise their current feelings and ways of living. As for the set-up, it was done in a way that felt a little tedious to me, but I think it'll have good payoff - or, at least, I hope so.

Even though this episode wasn't very plot focused, I think it might be my favourite from the season. We had a bit of everything - action, comedy, fluff. It was just a very wholesome episode with the proper introduction of our new character (who might already be my favourite) and, even though I know this episode is likely just a one-off, episodes like this every now and then are something so sweet that you can't help but love them.

As soon as one battle ends, the next one starts in this show, and this one's to do with Couran. We get to see that transpire, as well as a bit of insight into Pham and the ways in which he's going to integral to the future plot. Additionally, we get a brief introduction to the last(?) new prominent character at the end of the episode, so I'm curious to see what sort of role they're going to have overall. Generally speaking, it's a little bit of a weaker episode for me just because I don't think there was as much mental strategy and cunning to see, but I understand why this was an important episode to have.

We continue with the battle from last episode, and also conclude it in this one. From start to finish, I was engaged and the way Ars' army handled things in the conflict was truly impressive and I loved watching it play out, on top of all the emotional moments, which take precedent in the latter half of the runtime. The character dynamics were appreciated, as was the action and the strategies. Ars is growing into a force to be reckoned with, and I'm enjoying watching that.

Here, we start the plot to save Lupa's wife and talk tactics regarding that, followed by the actual commencement of it. Overall, there was a good mix of action and strategy this episode so it felt very balanced and full. There was a moment or two where I just had to gasp audibly because of what was happening, so I think that says more about my enjoyment than what I can type out.

So, we get an introduction to a handful of new characters, and what is (I assume) going to be the new plot for the next little while. Ars shone this episode for me, with both his skill and his expert handling of what happened in the latter half of the episode. I'm curious to see just what role the first new character is going play in future episodes, since there seems to be a good amount of mystery and questions already starting to pop up regarding that.
