YO YO, NAH, REAL REVIEW RQ, I LOVED THIS EPISODE SO MUCH BRO. It's probably just me, but every camera angle and facial expression they used felt super creative and varied. IT ACTUALLY FEELS ALIVE!! Also, the Highlander's power sound design is pretty much brand new for this anime. Yeah, the visual effects still look kinda outdated lol, BUT THAT'S NOT THE POINT. This was a genuinely great episode. The final conflict officially kicks off here, and now I really wanna see how this woman Goku is gonna deal with all of this.

Even though they explained how those beasts started spawning from Ripple after she fainted, we still don't know the true origin behind her, and honestly, that feels really off... I guess I was expecting a bit more from Comet Studio. But yeah, let's just say this is their style. It feels like they're focusing more on rendering and polish rather than fluid animation. I'm not saying the battle scenes were bad- I just think they could've done them a lot better.

O sheesh, here goes the main story. Looking at the previous lore, I'm honestly not sure who our girls... or the ol' man, are gonna be fighting in the end. Everything feels so morally grey, and that's exactly what makes this episode so crucial on its own. Ok but seriously, the quality is definitely dropping in this episode and the previous one. They keep reusing the same scenes and still frames dozens of times. Plus, the CGI quality kinda dropped as well. They barely animate the beasts the way they should. From the viewer's POV, the beasts are just randomly jumping around for no apparent reason, and that makes the whole scene feel so goofy.

The plot is so inconsistent 💀💀, but well yea, she appeared on the cover with the other three girls, so it's no big deal. This episode's story is pretty sweet overall and contains a lot of comedy. My meal tasted so gah damn good while watching this episode. Alright, now we movin' to the quality check. Err... there's one thing that annoyed me a bit, and that's the lazy frames. Yeah, ngl this episode had quite a lot of them. It looks like they're saving the budget for another fight scene fr. However, this episode is still mainly about setting up the story and introducing a new character, so a slight drop in quality doesn't really affect it that much.

Discrimination and stereotypes... guess where those cultures came from? LOL.... Ight, that topic is actually pretty good to bring up in an anime series. It just shows that even in an isekai, real life problems are still there, roaming around these innocent people. And now, quality check!!! It's pretty ironic that they made this episode both discriminatory and wholesome at the same time. Pretty solid direction from Comet Studio right there. As for the animation, yeah man, I can't really say much either. Not a single frame looked poorly drawn or low quality. Every single one of them was peak.
