Solid setup. The world building drops you straight into a bleak situation and Gunzou and Iona's dynamic is immediately interesting. The CGI takes a minute to get used to but the premise pulls you in regardless.
If you enjoy military science fiction with a touch of mystery, this anime is definitely worth checking out. The first episode provides all the essential information without revealing too much, It leaves enough unanswered questions to keep viewers intrigued and eager to see what happens next. One thing to note is that the entire anime is produced using CGI. Considering it was released in 2013, the animation is surprisingly impressive overall. That said, there are a few scenes where the CGI looks a bit awkward and noticeably dated. The soundtrack is definitely worth noting, especially the OP "Savior of Song" which is an absolute banger.P.S. The narrator definitely sounded like a certain priest who likes mapo tofu😆
the 3D cgi is nice and cool in terms of backdrops and other inanimate objects but it looks VERY awkward and Derpy on the characters 😭a solid first episode though im not really a fan of the concept so i can't appreciate it as much but that's just a difference in taste ! i bet other people would dig this military sci-fi anime
