Synopsis
With the invention of anti-gravitational shoes known as Grav-Shoes, the ability to fly freely has become an everyday experience for the people inhabiting a four-island archipelago south of Japan. This invention has brought the people new ways of living and also a new sport known as "Flying Circus," where participants gain points by either touching floating buoys or their opponent's back. The gullible and clumsy Asuka Kurashina, newly transferred to Kunahama High School, enters this world of flight unknowingly when she is able to pull off a difficult maneuver the first time she participates in a Flying Circus match. Eventually, this leads her to join her school’s Flying Circus club. Led by their coach, Masaya Hinata, their members consist of the experienced Misaki Tobisawa and her overprotective friend, Mashiro Arisaka. Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm follows this rookie group soaring high above the skies and toward their dreams, armed only with their unwavering passion against an uncertain future.

What a finale! Asuka vs Saki completely delivered. The animation in the sky was pure eye candy. A super satisfying wrap up to an awesome sports anime! 5/5!!!
The Fall Tournament is finally here and the matchups deliver! The aerial animation and tactical dogfighting are incredible! Love their growths, especially Masaki's.
The join training hype is real! New members joins the squad for that intense 3-on-1 practice is awesome. The drive to beat Saki is peak hype indeed!
Asuka's recovery arc! Skipping school from total burnout felt so real, but watching the squad rally to g=help her find her passion is peak wholesomeness. Love Masaya's mentoring role. A reset for the show, indeed.
Saki's absolute dominance is genhinely terrifying, and watching her completely dismantle Asuka's cheerful spirit with her strategy. Heavy ep, but a nice one.
Post-tournament feels! Misaki being discouraged and pulling away from the team is painful to see. Love the emotional depth here.
Man, some heavy drama, but peak fiction. The tournament is intense, and that final match is brutal to watch. An emotional roller coaster, it is.
Tournament arc time! The West Kyushu qualifiers are finally here, and the hype is so real. This episode gave me major sports anime chills. I love to see Asuka's face brimming with excitement.
Mashiro on the center stage! Balancing supplementary exams while trying not to get left behind by Asuka and Misaki's insane growth gives her great development. Their dynamic are wholesome in my perspective.

Loved how this episode dives into Masaya's hidden past! And the match between Asuka and Misaki is a great showcase of raw talent vs experience. They give off comfy sports vibes.
The aerial aesthetic is beautiful, and cool concept for the grav shoes. Then, we have a clumsy MC. Well, it was a solid, vibrant sports intro.
Honestly, this ended up being a worth watching anime top to bottom. The first couple of episodes included some cheap fan service that did nothing to the story and made me feel like "wth?" but other than that, I really enjoyed it!
With only one episode left, I have to say this anime surprised me for good by a lot! Ypu think you know how a match will end, but at some moment you really start doubting and wanna see what happens next

A slow episode like this was necessary after so many things that happened lately. Still, we got more lore to Asukas childhood, which is nice :)
