EPISODE REVIEWS

Ingat banget waktu SMP diajak temen nonton anime ini. Membuka wawasan aku soal anime ga melulu happy-happy. Misaki ini imut tapi creepy yaa. Bayangin kalau dia ada di kelas kamu? Huaaaaa

Episode Context

Another opens with a masterclass in atmospheric horror. P.A. Works delivers a premiere drenched in unease, using muted color palettes, lingering camera work, and oppressive silence to build dread before anything overtly terrifying even happens. Transfer student Kouichi Sakakibara arrives at Yomiyama North Middle School, and immediately something feels wrong. His new classmates in Class 3-3 carry a tension that nobody will explain, and then there's Mei Misaki, a girl with an eyepatch whom everyone seems determined to ignore. The pacing is deliberately slow, prioritizing mood over action, rewarding patient viewers who appreciate a mystery that trusts its audience to sit in discomfort. Expect questions with no answers, an atmosphere thick enough to cut, and a hook that makes episode two feel mandatory. This is horror built on what isn't said.
