This episode is emotional suffering disguised as cozy slice of life. Anne feeling overwhelmed by everyone else's expectations hit way too real, and the story does a great job showing how messy growing up and changing relationships can actually feel. Also Rusty instantly best boy.
This ep is a total emotional pivot and the tension around the upcoming entrance exams is so real. We finally get the maturity and character depth needed to see how much Anne and the Avonlea crew have actually grown up since day one.
This episode was very hard. Anne is very unaware of her own feelings and too caught up on her friendships. Personally, this will be growth for Anne where she can learn that love is not simple and sometimes what you need is staring right in front of you.
