Episode Context

As the series premiere of a 12-episode run, this episode does the essential work of establishing Hajime's character and the fateful meeting with young Rirui that serves as the catalyst for everything to come. It lays the thematic groundwork, compassion, loneliness, second chances, that the season will build upon as their dynamic evolves. Expect subsequent episodes to expand on Rirui's mysterious abilities and how her presence fundamentally reshapes Hajime's solitary lifestyle.
