Episode 9 is a slight improvement over the last few episodes. Charlotte's spotlight gives the story a new direction, and her confrontation with the royal family delivers the emotional payoff the show has been building toward. The animation is still weak, and Haruto is still boring, but Charlotte carries the episode. If you're invested in her character, this episode delivers.
