This is pure chaos. The rescue mission at the execution grounds is some of the most intense 20 minutes of anime I’ve seen. Esdeath is a literal goddess of destruction—how is anyone supposed to beat her? The scale of this fight is massive. My heart rate was through the roof.

The world building here gets darker as they revealed the atrocities committed by Wild Hunt. The pacing here was fast, as the group had a brutal exchange in the palace. I love Lubbock's loyalty and intellect in this ep. They really outplayed Syura and his teigu.

This episode features great animation and action. Tatsumi and Lubbock, in order to infiltrate the castle, had an intense battle. The pace and flow is complimentary for the storyline. Once in motion, this reveals a great foreshadowing for the upcoming story.

This only proves my belief over Lubbock. He was a privilaged and spoiled son of a really rich merchant but he didn't hesitate to drag his enemies with him if it meant Najenda dream one step closer to become reality. Absolute baller.

Large battles begin erupting as the struggle against the empire grows more chaotic. Watching different fighters clash in the middle of the conflict makes the episode feel especially intense. The action doesn’t slow down here.

Night Raid goes all in on the capital and it gets messy real fast. Lubbock finally gets his moment!!! this show really said no character is safe 💀

This episode functions as a major escalation point in the final quarter of the series, pushing key characters into positions with lasting consequences.
