I really enjoyed this episode because it shows how not to lose hope, even when facing problems. I also like basketball, so I could relate to it. If you enjoy that too, this anime is worth watching. It has a touch of comedy and slice of life elements. I’d rate it 8/10.

Episode Context

Ahiru no Sora slows its tempo to deliver a character-driven episode centered on Kenji 'Kite' Natsume and the friction between individual talent and team cohesion. Expect an introspective tone rather than high-energy court action, this is the show working through the messy reality of bringing a lone-wolf player into a group that barely functions as a unit. The dynamic between Sora and Kite carries the weight here, contrasting their philosophies on what basketball means and who they play for. Pacing is measured and deliberate, giving space for emotional beats to land without rushing toward resolution. If you've been watching for the raw team-building drama rather than the dunks, this episode rewards that investment. It's a quieter installment, but the character work is essential groundwork for what's ahead.
