Watching this in 2026 makes me miss this kind of simple romance anime. This episode feels so warm and sincere. Keiichi and Belldandy truly care for each other, without unnecessary drama or flashy moments. Just two people quietly loving and thinking of each other.

The second season starts off with the same warm and relaxed feeling that made the first season enjoyable. Keiichi and Belldandy are still trying to live a normal life together, although having several goddesses around makes “normal” pretty much impossible. I liked how the episode balanced the romantic side with the usual comedy, without making things feel too dramatic. The animation also continues to look really nice, especially during the magical scenes.
