Episode Context

Coming directly off the high-tension events at Fort Severn, this episode functions as a deliberate cooldown, a structural breather at roughly the series' midpoint that shifts focus inward rather than forward. By grounding Witz and Roybea in their personal histories, it enriches the motivations of two characters whose stakes have remained largely surface-level until now, quietly setting the foundation for how their arcs will carry weight in the second half of the series.
