Episode Context

Episode 12 follows 'Don't Think, Just Run!', an episode that suggests reactive, high-stakes momentum, making this a likely tonal counterpoint, a slower, more calculated chapter where consequences catch up to characters. At this point in the 39-episode run, Garrod and the Freeden crew are deepening their understanding of the post-war world's power structures and dangers. It directly precedes 'Shoot My Foolish Self,' a title hinting at self-reckoning, suggesting this episode plants the seeds of doubt or ambition that the next one confronts head-on.
