Synopsis

Director Meng Qi is obsessed with monster movies, but with the genre's popularity fading, so is his career. Just as he's about to lose hope, his world is turned upside down when a real demon girl named Liya appears before him. Seizing the opportunity of a lifetime, Meng Qi agrees to help her shoot a demon-themed movie. However, as filming progresses, he begins to uncover a mysterious connection between his own life and the otherworldly events on set.
