Episode Context

This episode arrives just after Episode 4, which ends with Hiromi voicing her longing to reconnect with Tōdō, a rare moment of emotional openness that raises the stakes heading into the midseason. Episode 5 appears to crystallize that longing into a concrete, irreversible decision, bridging Hiromi's internal world to the tangible pursuit ahead. What follows in Episode 6, titled 'New York, the City Where Tōdō Is', suggests this episode is the turning point that launches the season's second half toward Tōdō and the larger challenges waiting overseas.
