The third-years winning felt right. Let the legends leave the stage one last time. Isashiki pitching and Chris catching was the most chaotic retirement package imaginable WAAA

This didn't feel like a season finale. It felt like a graduation ceremony disguised as a baseball game. Sawamura finally showing signs of beating the yips had me celebrating harder than some actual tournament wins <3

The finale perfectly balances closure and hype for what's next. One door closed, ten new problems opened NYAA hahaha

Episode Context

Following Episode 74's setup of a graduation match for the departing seniors, this finale transforms that premise into a thematic capstone for the entire first season, celebrating growth while signaling the next chapter. It bridges the emotional aftermath of Seidou's tournament losses with the promise of the Fall Tournament, where the reshaped roster will chase Koshien again. The episode functions as both an ending and a prologue to Act II, making it essential viewing for anyone continuing into the sequel series.
