Such a strong opener episode for the finals. You can literally feel the pressure is on GRRR

AWWW the dorm prank scene is actually a really smart tonal break. It reminds you these are still high school kids before the pressure fully crushes the atmosphere of the finals T___T

Inashiro’s side feels way more controlled and quiet in comparison to Seido LOLLL. That contrast is SO intentional

Episode Context

Sitting at episode 51 of 75, this marks the definitive pivot into the season's climactic stretch, the West Tokyo Finals that Seidou's entire arc of training, internal competition, and growth has been driving toward. The preceding episodes established the team's hard-won path through the tournament bracket and their evolving dynamics, and 'The Battle Begins!' converts all that accumulated momentum into a launchpad for the most consequential matchup of the series so far. Everything that follows will be shaped by what unfolds in this Seidou versus Inashiro showdown.
