Ace Sawamura episodes just hit different. The confidence, the command, the aura... bro owned the mound!!!!

The crowd playing Yuki's song was one of the coolest captain moments in the series. This episode is basically Seido saying: "Yeah, our ace is locked in and our captain is locked in too."

The storytelling feels so much more impactful thanks to the deeper focus on the players' psychological side.

Watching Sawamura walk back out for the ninth inning with all that pressure on his shoulders felt so heavy and you can tell he is ready to protect that lead at any cost

I was cheering so loud when Miyuki got that double, but then the scene in the hallway completely killed my mood. Seeing Eijun overhear that conversation about going pro felt like such a betrayal because he just wants to be an equal partner. It really hurts seeing him look so down even though he's about to go out and close the game

The way Shirasu cares about this final summer even if he stays quiet is so clear and seeing him tie the game after that talk with Nori was huge

The way the band played the Lupin theme for Miyuki was such a massive moment and he really stepped up as the captain to drive those runs home when Amahisa was looking untouchable

Seeing Shirasu finally get that hit was so good because you forget he is leaving baseball soon and he really put the whole team on his back right when they needed it most

I felt so bad for Sawamura standing in the hallway while Miyuki talked to Furuya about their future and it just sucks seeing him excluded after everything he did for the team today

My heart actually broke for Eijun hearing Miyuki talk about the pros with Furuya and it felt like he was just a ghost standing there while his partner looked right past him to someone else
