Abyss in the World

Packed into just a few minutes, 'Abyss in the World' delivers a music video that becomes a whole mood. 'Abyss in the World' is a single-episode music piece, essentially an animated short built around Eve's song of the same name, so you're not committing to a series here. You sit down, you watch something visually striking, and you walk away with a song stuck in your head. The animation carries that kind of quiet, melancholic weight that Eve's music is known for, pairing atmospheric visuals with the kind of sound design that makes you feel something without being able to immediately explain what. If you've ever fallen into an Eve music video on YouTube at 2am and lost an hour, this is exactly that experience in a more deliberate, crafted form. Fans of The Promised Neverland or Made in Abyss who appreciate that specific blend of beautiful imagery and underlying unease will find the aesthetic familiar. It's short, it's self-contained, and it doesn't ask much from you, just a willingness to sit with something that feels a little bit like staring into something deep and not quite seeing the bottom. Worth the fifteen minutes, especially if Eve's music already connects with you.
