📖 SYNOPSIS

Working out of Gifu, Japan, a 29-year-old private detective named Sōsuke Kaburaya is barely getting by on his cases. Then a 13-year-old princess from a fantasy world drops through a portal and lands right on top of him. Sara da Odin has real magic — powerful spells, the whole deal — and she has zero concept that this world doesn't work that way. So naturally she starts casting in public, causing exactly the kind of chaos you'd expect, and Sōsuke has no choice but to drag her home before things get worse. From there, Sara discovers the internet, manga, and convenience stores, adapts disturbingly fast, and decides she's his new assistant. Later, a knight from Sara's world named Livia also shows up in Japan, except she doesn't land nearly as comfortably — she ends up homeless for a stretch before things come together. The whole thing is a reverse isekai comedy, less about plot and more about watching fantasy characters bump into the mundane realities of modern life. The character designs are by Kantoku, which gives everything a clean, appealing look that fits the lighthearted tone. If you liked The Devil Is a Part-Timer or Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid — that same energy of powerful beings from other worlds just trying to figure out grocery shopping and social norms — this is in that lane.
