Wow, the first episode is an absolute ride! It drops you right into a massive, desperate war that instantly hooks you. The animation looks great, especially how the bright magic pops against the dark, ruined world. That central beast fight was just next level awesome.
The characters are introduced rapidly so I didn't get a feel for them but it does a good job of setting up for longer introductions. This episode does a good job of capturing the emotions of Desir with his whole situation. Getting the watcher pumped for upcoming episodes.
This anime is from a webtoon I like quite a lot. Let’s see if they did justice to the original work. We start off strong, already tense. Though I don’t like the work done on the opponent that much, I must say adapting something on such a huge scale is quite complicated. Now, the real story begins. That has to be one of the most complicated feelings ever, but it’s needed to flip the switch. A not-so-favorable position to be in. That’s a final blow for him.
