Episode Context

Following Season 1 Episode 12, "Anti-Mage," which centered on Desir Herrman's confrontation with Kraiken over the Tear of Regernel, this episode moves the story into Season 2's first Shadow World mission and begins the Evernatten storyline. The series shifts from academy conflicts to a historical crisis the team must understand and correct, establishing the mission structure that carries the season forward from this point.
