Episode Context

Coming off the Sword Trial Tournament's preliminary selection phase, episode 28 downshifts from pure combat into character development and power progression at the season's midpoint. The Weeping Soul Beast's evolution and Song Yu's psychological assessments of Han Li and Du Dong serve as transitional groundwork, building toward the anticipated 'Return to Tiannan' arc and the full Sword Trial Battles that will define the back half of this 52-episode season.
