EPISODE REVIEWS

Best anime

Good animation and steady approach, but it feels more like setup than payoff. A reliable start that neither dazzles nor disappoints significantly.

Calm pacing, diving back into Han Li’s survival and backstory in the outer seas. It smoothly reconnects plot threads but doesn’t deliver big moments yet but good world‑building, though some may find it slow to gain momentum.

Episode Context

As episode 1 of 52, this premiere launches the 'Storm in Outer Sea' arc, transitioning Han Li from the trials and conflicts of the third season into an entirely new setting with fresh stakes. It functions as a narrative bridge, grounding viewers in Han Li's current state of cultivation while introducing characters like Gongsun Xing who will factor into the arc's trajectory. With a full 52-episode runway ahead, expect this opening to prioritize foundation-building that pays off across the season's larger storylines.
