Kaito Takagi, a low-status high school student, lives a mundane life as a low-level explorer in dungeons that have appeared across Japan. He spends his days hunting slimes to earn money, all while secretly admiring his childhood friend, the class queen. One day, he encounters a golden slime, unlike any he's seen before. Upon defeating it, he obtains an incredibly valuable item: a card capable of summoning mythical beings. Deciding to activate the card, Kaito summons a warrior maiden of unparalleled beauty. This event marks the beginning of his transformation from a nobody to a hero in a modern battle fantasy setting.
