A Lull in the Sea

This anime shows that loving someone means doing everything you can, no matter what. Loving isn’t wrong you can love someone even if that feeling isn’t reciprocated, that’s what unconditional love is. In the end, the Sea God comes to understand something that helps resolve everything. This anime is truly great. At first, I thought it was boring, but it taught me not to judge until I fully watched it. The OST used here is also really good. I’d even add it to my anime music playlist. If you’re looking for a romance anime, I highly recommend this 1000/10. ❤️❤️

The ending was alright. Wasn't the best but it was still good to watch. Would have loved if they had finally confirmed the couples in the series and made them kiss because it's a romance anime after all. This episode itself felt kinda rushed so kinda sad on that note ;(

The pendant speaks for Manaka, and I love the quote Tsumugu says: ‘It’s not just butterflies and warm feelings. You have to embrace the sadness, pain, and everything that comes with it.’ That’s so true. This episode is very emotional, and the relationships are messy. Sometimes you have to get hurt to realize whether something is right or wrong but there’s nothing wrong with loving. I give this Episode 100/10🔥🔥

This episode was amazing to watch. Love seeing them confess their feelings and it's not always so common to see that in anime! The way they were doing the sending was also cool as well!

Dang, out of everyone, Tsumugu ends up liking Chisaki, but Chisaki’s love is only for Hikari. Now they’re planning to make another wooden maiden, hoping it can restore what Manaka has lost.

This episode focuses on understanding how to restore Manaka’s lost feelings. The group begins to realize that Miuna may be carrying Manaka’s emotions. This becomes very emotional.

Lots of emotional baggage in this episode too! The way the cast also helps one another by trying to make Manaka love again is so amazing as well!

This episode is so emotional, as Manaka seems to have forgotten something, and the plot twist feels so unfair. I’d say doing the right thing leads to something wrong, while doing something wrong brings a good outcome is that it? It really feels unfair😭. Hikari just wants to save Manaka, so why did it turn out like this? It makes me sad.

Finally, the four are reunited. It’s nice to see them happily spending time with Manaka. Maybe it’s just me, but I noticed that Manaka feels different from before. This episode is more dialogue driven, nothing major happens, as it mainly focuses on Manaka finally waking up.

Wow confession after confession lol. This episode has emotional drama and I'm all here for it!

Hikari really works hard here, trying to figure out how to wake Manaka. He’s exhausted from doing everything for her even have cold, but it’s not just him, his friends are also doing their part to help her wake up. As Hikari continues to hope for Manaka’s recovery, he argues with Miuna, and then something unexpected suddenly happens and you have to find out yourself. 😉

This episode focuses on more mature conflict, as one member of the group stays on the surface and ages five years ahead of the others. She feels that things are no longer the same, but in truth, her friends still see her just as before. I love that they continue to honor the promise they made, that’s what true friendship is ❤

Wow, the long wait is over, Hikari finally saves Manaka from the sea village. But something is bothering me, especially what Lord Uroko said about it being an exchange for something. I hope nothing tragic happens to them after saving Manaka. I’m just happy the four friends are finally reunited.

I think there’s a mystery surrounding her right now. You can’t blame Kaname for assuming things😅. Poor Kaname. I still love the story, it’s really interesting. I’d give it an 8.5/10. It keeps me curious and makes me want to dive deeper.

This anime really never changes its netorare style storyline. I can see how frustrating everything that happened in the past was for Hikari. But I’m happy to see Chisaki and Hikari reunited, and seeing Hikari smile again is such a relief. I’d love to see more now, especially with the distance that has grown between their group of friends.

This has to be the biggest plot twist yet. The fact that there was so much lore at the end made my head hurt a bit lol. But it was still a great episode indeed. I don't want it to end 😭
