Synopsis
High school student Aoi Aioi lives with her elder sister, Akane, after a tragic accident took their parents away 13 years ago. Because Akane has since been taking care of her single-handedly, Aoi wants to move to Tokyo after her graduation to relieve her sister's burden and pursue a musical career, inspired by Akane's ex-boyfriend Shinnosuke "Shinno" Kanamuro. Shinno was part of a band until he left for Tokyo to become a professional guitarist after the sisters' parents passed away, and he was never to be seen again. One afternoon, while Aoi practices her bass in a guest house, she gets startled by the 18-year-old version of Shinno from 13 years ago! As if by coincidence, the current 31-year-old Shinno also returns to the town, but he has changed drastically. There are now two Shinno's in existence, but why is the Shinno from the past present? Sora no Aosa wo Shiru Hito yo revolves around these four individuals as they confront their inner feelings toward each other and make decisions that will affect their lives from here on out.

Visually, the film is beautiful. The animation is expressive, the countryside setting is charming, and the musical performances are animated with impressive attention to detail. The soundtrack also complements the emotional moments well.

To be honest, the beginning bored me a little, but it got more interesting as the story went on. I liked how it explored growing up and how we tend to left a part of our self after life-changing events. The animation and soundtrack are decent, and the story is more mature than I expected. Overall, I'd recommend it, but you'll need some patience with the slow start.
It's amazing anime movie in part, to achieve everything he wishes it to be fast, and it happened, but so many things happened, a plot twist. Love and ambition are a deal, especially in young dreamers who dream of becoming what they look up to, and it's worth watching 10/10.
Stunning movie. The story was beautiful and heartfelt, the visuals were stunning and totally elevated the mood, and the characters felt so realistic. The ending was super satisfying and emotional - tip: watch all the credits. Overall, great watch, highly recommend.
Wow, this started out so soothingly and then just completely threw a curveball at me. I was totally captivated by how gorgeous the mountain scenery looked, especially with the soft afternoon lighting. The rhythm felt just right, giving us time to breathe. It left me feeling incredibly intrigued and eager to see where this setup goes.
Face your past and own your choices. Life forces compromises, but they don't define you. Believe in yourself and reject nothing that's truly yours. The frog at the bottom of the well doesn't know the sea, but it knows the sky. The characters expressed the same philosophy here.
Heartfelt!
