The story continues to progress, and the characters are gradually becoming a bit more engaging as their development unfolds. However, the pacing remains a bit slow, and the story has yet to find the dynamic momentum that will truly hook me.

It blends holiday traditions with personal, sweet moments between the couple. The shrine setting feels calm and beautiful, which really makes the quiet, character-focused story stand out.

The shrine scenes were really nice, and I can feel their connection growing more naturally. It still has that intense vibe sometimes, but it feels more balanced now. she’s still figuring out her feelings, but that little head‑pat says everything.

that scene at the shrine was so cozy with everyone in their kimonos. i loved how hotaru was struggling with her wooden sandals and hananoi immediately noticed. the way they shared that hot drink while waiting for the sun to rise felt like such a sweet, quiet moment for them.

Episode 4 focuses more on Hananoi’s past and why he acts so intense in relationships. We see that he had some lonely experiences before, which explains why he gets very attached and devoted to Hotaru. At the same time, Hotaru continues trying to understand her own feelings and how to be a good girlfriend. The episode adds a bit more depth to Hananoi’s character and shows their relationship slowly growing, even if it still feels a little awkward sometimes.
