Branch 06 leaves Kakeru's group shaken after a volatile encounter with Artifact Users, and Branch 07 turns that unease into a direct attack. The episode's investigation of Ghost's nature plants the discrepancy Kakeru follows into Branch 08. It widens the season's central mystery rather than closing it.
