Episode Context

As the thirteenth and final episode, Branch 13 follows directly from Episode 12's fragile peace after the defeat of Iris, only to shatter that calm with the resurgence of a deeply personal threat in Yoichi. This is the series' endgame, every unresolved conflict, every buried tension between Shō and his former best friend, comes to a head here. There are no further episodes; this is the definitive conclusion, tasked with closing out the overarching narrative of friendship, betrayal, and the cost of power.
