EPISODE REVIEWS

My stomach dropped when Tsumugi realized Kaname was nothing like her brother and that he was just putting on an act to lower her guard

Episode Context

As the first of eight episodes, this entry does the essential work of establishing Tsumugi and Kaname's baseline dynamic before the series begins dismantling it. Nothing precedes it, and everything that follows depends on the specific version of Kaname that Tsumugi believes she has found here. Subsequent episodes are positioned to leverage the contrast built in this opener.
