This was a fresh and relaxing episode, with a nice change of pace from the usual intensity. Overall, it was a really pleasant and enjoyable watch.
That was interesting to watch! It's been awhile since they put in some comedy and light friendship scene in the anime, so it was actually quite nice to watch this episode. Though the plot seemed to moved into a much serious tone towards the end, revealing a new problem that they had to face and uncover. It was a nice one!
Teito and Hakuren sharing more screen time is already proving entertaining because neither seems willing to back down from the other 😬 Their constant irritation gives the church scenes a different energy, and I appreciate having someone who can challenge Teito without constantly protecting him. The exam training also lets us see their abilities from another angle. Teito still hasn't wowed me with his power, but at least watching him struggle here feels more productive than frustrating.
