EPISODE REVIEWS

This episode gives Alan some of his strongest character material in a while. The story briefly looks beyond the usual overpowered hero antics and touches on the baggage that comes with being seen as a savior. The drama isn't especially deep, but it adds a layer of humanity that the series has often been missing.

They try to milk some emotional stakes out of Alan's hero memories, but it completely bombs because the script is so lazy. The villain is just a cartoonishly evil cardboard cutout shouting threats, lol. Zero tension, terrible art, just pure garbage.

Another plot hole. Way back when our MC was a hero, a kid got scared after saving him. But why? There's no context at all. Our hero's story background is supposed to be heavy, but the lack of context here and there spoiled the character.
