This episode was incredibly tense, with a few hilarious moments sprinkled in. I still get chills every time Pitou appears. The presence of the Royal Guards is genuinely terrifying, and I honestly love enemies that feel this overwhelming. It makes the entire arc feel unpredictable.

The story flowed smoothly and had several gripping moments that left me wanting more. I liked the pacing here, especially since the detailed dialogue and inner monologues felt important to both the plot and the characters.

Naur, Shoot was actually hilarious 😭 I love whatever is wrong with him, lol. This episode had some funny moments, but overall it leaned heavily into tension. I really liked the progress here because it feels like we're getting closer and closer to something huge.

Episode Context

Gon's Nen training reaches a critical inflection point as he refines his signature ability while confronting its inherent limitations. This episode strikes a compelling balance between tactical combat theory and raw physical training, with Gon and Killua pushing themselves toward a deadline that carries real stakes. The tone shifts between intense sparring sequences and quieter moments of strategic reflection, giving weight to the idea that power without understanding is useless. Knuckle looms as a benchmark opponent, and the pressure of the upcoming rematch drives every scene forward. Meanwhile, the episode widens its lens to include Netero, Knov, and Morel, grounding the personal growth in the larger existential threat. Expect sharp pacing, genuine tension about readiness, and the kind of earned character development that makes training arcs feel purposeful rather than padded.
