This episode leaned more on dialogue as the story moved forward. The atmosphere was tense, though a few scenes were genuinely funny. I liked the balance of those moments, since they gave us a brief breather before things inevitably got worse.

This episode felt pretty tense and focused more on preparation. Palm reminded me of Sunako Nakahara, but way more intense 😭 I liked the pacing and setup here. The story progressed smoothly while building anticipation for what's to come.

Knuckle might end up being one of my favorite characters. He's hilarious, and I really like his attitude 😆 Anyway, I enjoyed the flow of this episode. It was entertaining, tense, and introduced some intriguing new faces.

Episode Context

A training-focused episode that trades battlefield intensity for disciplined preparation and character dynamics. Gon and Killua channel their resolve into rigorous power-ups under Biscuit's demanding guidance, with the eccentric Palm adding an unpredictable energy that keeps the tone from becoming too heavy. The episode leans into themes of perseverance and loyalty, the promise to rescue Kite anchors every grueling session. Pacing is deliberate and steady, prioritizing character development over spectacle. Expect a satisfying blend of determination-fueled training montages and lighter comedic beats that let the cast breathe between arcs of escalating danger. This is Hunter x Hunter in buildup mode: no wasted scenes, every interaction sharpening the stakes. If you appreciate episodes that invest in the journey before the payoff, this delivers exactly that foundation.
