Un capítulo impresionante que muestra las habilidades de Gon para cazar y analizar su entorno. Aunque a veces eso signifique arriesgarse hasta el último segundo.Vemos como la segunda parte del examen pasa por dos fases debido a lo injusta que es al principio.

This challenge has 2 parts. The first part is cooking, which is quite boring, and the examiner seems unprofessional, making it a little cringe. But the second challenge is straight to the point, which makes the Hunter Exam look easy compared to the previous episode. Overall, still enjoyable.

Are you hungry? This episode is basically a cooking show from hell. It’s a nice change of pace, moving from physical endurance to culinary skill. A bit niche, but seeing them struggle with the pigs is hilarious. You could skip, but why would you?

Episode Context

The Hunter Exam throws a curveball. After the grueling physical trials of the opening phase, episode six pivots hard into unexpected territory with a challenge that has nothing to do with brute strength or endurance. The tone lightens considerably compared to what came before, injecting genuine humor into the high-stakes exam setting without undermining the tension. Gon, Kurapika, Leorio, and Killua each respond to this curveball differently, and those reactions reveal more about their personalities than any fight sequence could. This is Hunter x Hunter doing what it does best early on, subverting shonen expectations. Adaptability becomes the real test here, and the episode rewards patience with solid character moments. The pacing is brisk, balancing comedic beats with the ever-present threat of elimination. A refreshing change of pace that keeps the exam unpredictable.
