Last Zoldyck family arc ends happy and satisfying. Gotoh’s coin game with Killua’s friends steals the show. Otherwise slow paced. The last part is the hint for the next arc.

Everything comes together here. The emotional payoff is finally hitting, and it’s landing hard. The blindfold challenge is a great metaphor for the final steps. Don't skip—the conclusion to this little arc is incredibly satisfying.

This episode builds strong anticipation as the story moves forward. It sets things up nicely for what’s coming next. I’m really excited to see more of my favorite quartet!

Episode Context

The action takes a backseat as Hunter x Hunter shifts into a battle of wits and nerves. Gon, Kurapika, and Leorio have made it to the Zoldyck butler quarters, but reaching Killua means passing one final gatekeeper: Gotoh, the head butler, whose loyalty to the Zoldyck family is absolute. What follows is a tense psychological game where perception and trust are tested in ways fists can't solve. The episode thrives on deliberate pacing, letting the mental chess match breathe as each character reveals their resolve. Madhouse delivers the kind of quiet intensity that makes Hunter x Hunter more than just a battle series, this is about proving worthiness through composure and conviction. Expect sharp dialogue, mounting pressure, and a showcase of why these characters earned their Hunter licenses in the first place.
