This episode dragged on a little bit, but it was full of tension as it focused more on the election. Honestly, I loved the dialogue here, but it felt a little too much for me. Or maybe I'm just stupid, lmao. It was still a good episode.

I actually liked this episode, surprisingly. But nothing caught my attention more than Pariston's character's unpredictability. I loved how this one was laid out, though I was much more interested in what would happen to Gon, lol.

I liked the storyline in this episode, leaning more on dialogue and what had been happening in the election. Leorio was just too unexpected here, but he also had that powerful aura. Maybe it's because he's one of the MCs, lol. I loved him so muchhh!

Episode Context

Four episodes from the finale, Hunter x Hunter shifts fully into political thriller mode. This is an episode driven by rhetoric, strategy, and the high-stakes chess match of the Hunter Association election. Expect sharp dialogue and tense backroom maneuvering as the remaining candidates jockey for position, with Leorio and Cheadle emerging as focal points whose convictions carry real weight. The pacing is deliberate but gripping, every conversation feels loaded, every alliance carries consequences. Madhouse delivers atmosphere through restraint here, letting character performances and escalating tension do the heavy lifting rather than action set pieces. For fans who've invested in the political dimensions of this arc, this is a payoff episode. The suspense is genuine, the stakes feel earned, and the groundwork being laid for the final stretch is unmistakable.
