This episode was great. A little intense, with a high-stakes situation throughout. Hisoka and Illumi's dynamic is still weird to me, but somehow it feels right. 🥲 Like, these two are actually preying on the young. No wonder these weirdos get along, lol. Loved this episode, though.

Leorio, for some reason, became the face of the promotion for the 13th Chairman Election. 😭 Anyway, I loved the tension in this episode. Even I was getting a little nervous, lol. And honestly, that ending was unexpected. That matchup wasn't something I knew I needed.

I liked the flow of this episode. It felt a little fast because of the intense scenes, but that showdown at the end completely caught me off guard. That's REALLY interesting. Hmmm. Now I'm even more curious about what happens next.

Episode Context

This late-game episode trades battlefield spectacle for something far more unsettling: family politics. The Zoldyck dynamics take center stage as Killua and Illumi's fraught relationship becomes a pressure cooker of manipulation, loyalty, and suppressed defiance. Hisoka's presence adds a layer of unpredictable menace, his motivations as opaque and dangerous as ever. The pacing is deliberate and tension-driven, favoring psychological chess over physical combat. Every conversation carries weight, every glance conceals intent. Expect an atmosphere thick with suspicion and strategic posturing, where the real threats aren't Nen abilities but the bonds of blood and the chains of control. This is Hunter x Hunter at its most cerebral, an episode that rewards attention to dialogue and character detail over spectacle, building dread through what remains unspoken.
