This episode was decent, but nothing really got me hyped. It's a little strange considering we're already at a major point in the arc. The narrator continued to bother me, though. T^T Still, the episode was important, even if it felt slower than usual.

Pouf was such a diva and a little unhinged, but I already knew that from the start. 😭 Anyway, this episode felt a bit slow, and the narrator made it seem even slower. Still, despite that issue, I thought the episode was pretty good overall.

This episode felt slower than the previous one. The storytelling was fine, but it didn't feel like anything major happened. It seemed more focused on laying the groundwork and building anticipation for the episodes that follow.

Episode Context

Hunter x Hunter shifts into a suffocating gear here. Episode 113 is pure infiltration tension, the palace raid is underway, and every second counts. Expect deliberate, methodical pacing that squeezes anxiety out of each frame. Gon, Killua, Morel, Knuckle, and Shoot are all locked into their roles, and the weight of the mission presses down on every decision. This isn't a pure action showcase; it's a chess match where the Royal Guards represent pieces that can annihilate you. Madhouse leans hard into psychological intensity, exploring what loyalty and duty actually cost when the stakes are existential. Introspective beats punctuate the strategic maneuvering, giving each character room to breathe, or suffocate, under pressure. The episode rewards patience, building suspense that feels almost unbearable by the end.
