Tense disciplinary action takes center stage under a beautifully rendered evening sunset. The color palette utilizes rich, deep oranges and long, stretching shadows across the courtyard to mirror the growing psychological tension. The animation tracks the rigid, unyielding posture of Hijikata as he begins enforcing strict samurai codes.

This episode is mainly dialogue, so it's kind of boring. However, those conversations lead to something important in the next episode, so I think it's worth watching and not one to miss.

It’s kinda dialogue heavy for my liking. Also, I think they are cooking something fishy so I think it will get intense on the next ep. I really got my eye on Sannan and Kondou's side and honestly that’s what got me hooked on this ep.
